We are pleased to announce that Rockford Community Investment Fund has raised $3.35 Million in capital through the generous support of its community partners. This capital will not only enable RCIF to finance the rehabilitation of more homes; it will enable RCIF to seek matching funds from the U.S. Department of Treasury and bring federal dollars into the community to help improve the quality of the housing stock in the City. We are grateful to all of those who have shown their commitment to Rockford and put their trust in us: Community Foundation of Northern Illinois; City of Rockford; Illinois Bank & Trust; Rockford Community Bank; Stillman Bank; Blackhawk Bank; Northwest Bank; Byron Bank; Midland States Bank; Rockford Local Development Corporation and Northern Illinois Community Development Corporation. Together we will continue to increase the availability of safe, sanitary and affordable housing for all of Rockford’s residents.
